Extensya participates in one of the largest Job Fairs in Jordan Offering work opportunities for hundreds of fresh graduates, Extensya chooses to
participates in Injaz’s Job Fair “link 2 Job” to meet the graduates and job
seekers of the Jordanian Youth. Seeking to find talented job seekers, Extensya
met with hundreds of job seekers, and the recruitment team present at Extensya’s
booth at the fair had a brief chat with those who stopped by the booth to
explore more about the business and the vacancies, and to hand in their resumes.
The fair took place at Zara Expositions; all five floors of the building were
occupied by the fair for two days on April 22nd and 23rd. The first floor was
referred to as “The Gym” where training courses were given to the job seekers,
“the post office” area was the place where seekers could upload their resumes
online, the “uptown” and “downtown” in the second and third floors consisted of
the company booths, Extensya was in the “uptown area” in the third floor. The
first floor included the “Challenge Area”, “The C.V. clinic “were seekers could
improve and work on their resumes with the help of professionals, the “Library”,
“Injaz” area and “Internet Café”. Therefore, seekers benefited as well from the
opportunities of getting training and improving their resumes as well as the job
opportunities offered at the fair. Extensya is currently working on filtering
through the resumes it received electronically and by hand, the total number of
potential candidates resumes mounts up to 2,500. Extensya is hoping to employ
those who fit best in the vacancies available.

Extensya participates in the Maharat job fair for the sixth time
As part of supporting the BDC Maharat initiative, Extensya took part of the
Maharat Job Fair on Monday April 20th, 09 at the Sheraton Amman Hotel. The job
fair was attended by around 30 companies from different sectors in Jordan, each
conducted brief interviews with the students. A short presentation was held by
the Maharat team at the beginning of the fair, discussing the different programs
Maharat offers young university and diploma graduates, as well as the training
workshops it offers young business people. Around 60 Maharat graduates attended
the fair, seeking job opportunities in Jordanian companies, Extensya’s
recruitment team met with most of the students individually for brief
interviews, and collected their resumes to later filter them out and do further
interviews with them to eventually hire those who fit.

In collaboration with SABEQ, Extensya launches a national campaign to create
awareness on the Business Outsourcing Industry and its growth potential in
Jordan In line with the national initiative that aims towards making
Jordan the Contact Center hub in the region, SABEQ – a USAID Economic
development initiative for Jordan - perceives the significant impact of this
industry on the Jordanian economy and its ability to create more job
opportunities, thus it teamed up with Extensya in a campaign for building
awareness among the Jordanian youth about this infant industry...

Extensya holds employee trainings and development programs
Extensya
holds training for its newly employed staff at the Dana Plaza Hotel and Amman
Bristol Hotel; the training was for 25 new employees in the position of Customer
Service Representatives in its Contact Management Center who joined the company
in February 2009. After the first year of establishing grounds and operations,
Extensya is currently expanding its venture into leading the BPO providers in
the Middle East.

Extensya participated in The MECC conference and exhibition ‘09
Extensya
participated in the Middle East Call Center
conference & exhibition in Dubai. The event was held on the 3rd and 4th of
February.
The exhibition is considered one of the most
important in the call center industry as it aims to introduce call center
solution providers to prospective clients, and present them with a number of
effective solutions to curb the various challenges facing this industry in the
region.
The exhibition was attended by pioneers in the arenas of call centers, IT and
telecom solutions. It was held at the Dubai International Convention &
Exhibition Centre. Through its private booth at the exhibition, Extensya worked
on introducing services provided to its clients in Jordan and abroad, in
addition to presenting the company's latest news and developments.

Extensya’s team is part of the “The Customer Service & Contact Centre Forum” in
Dubai
Extensya
participated in the “Customer Service & Contact Centre Forum” that took place in
Dubai on Sunday Nov. 9th till Tuesday Nov. 13th at the JW
Marriott Hotel. Extensya chose to be part of this forum for the fact that Dubai
is considered an international major business city and that the forum has
attracted paramount BPO providers and users. Although Extensya is at a start up
stage, there are current operations taking place. Extensya believes that it
should introduce itself to the market and create awareness that in Jordan, there
is a major BPO provider, set to serve its clientele and ready
to
manage their business interactions.

Extensya
participates as a platinum sponsor in the first Virtual Job Fair in Jordan
hosted by ‘Bayt.com’
The First virtual Job Fair in Jordan took place between Sunday October
19th until the following Sunday October 26th, hosted by Bayt.com. Each of the
participating companies had their own booth, spread over three floors, depending
on their sponsorship level. Extensya’s booth was on the first floor, the
platinum floor. The Second Floor is for the golden sponsors of the event, and
the third floor is for the rest of the participants. The idea of a virtual job
fair is very new to the region, this is the second virtual job fair that had
ever took place in the Middle East, where Bayt.com had launched their first one
in June 2008 for the GCC work market..

Extensya flies to New York to participate in The outsourcing World
Exhibition
Creating an investor friendly environment and implementing a strategic
development plan to turn Jordan into the primary outsourcing hub in the Middle
East is one of the major reasons driving Extensya to participate in the
Outsource World Exhibition held in New York on October 2008. The USAID and SABEQ
supported the initiative to attract outsourcing clients through the
participation of Jordan in the World Outsourcing Exhibition. Jordan has a
differentiating competitive advantage based on its significant large number of
IT graduates, its infrastructure and service supply. Boosting a highly literate,
multilingual workforce with competitive labor rates, alongside a new
sophisticated high bandwidth, redundant telecom infrastructure connected to
state of the art facilities, all operating in one of the most politically and
economically stable environments in the region, placed Jordan in the limelight
of the Exhibition.

Extensya participates in Maharat Job Fair
Extensya participates in the job fair organized by The Maharat
Program for Employment and Training of University Graduates. Maharat is a
project by Tatweer, an economic development program funded by the USAID. The
job Fair was held at the Sheraton in Amman, where 60 Graduates of Public
Relations and Business Management programs were presented with the opportunity
to meet with more than 30 prominent employers form the Jordanian market.
Extensya‘s recruitment team who participates for the third time, were
extremely satisfied with the quality of the young graduates. Extensya has
already employed 5 of Maharat graduates and will continue to support the program
and seek high potential graduates.

Extensya invites its employees for Iftar at The Grand Hyatt Amman
Celebrating the holy month of Ramadan and in a warm and friendly atmosphere,
Extensya’s team got together on Tuesday September 16th for Iftar
at the Grand Hyatt Amman. The event was attended by the CEO Wael Daoud, the
senior management team and all the staff members. During the Iftar two of the
employees who were celebrating their Birthday that week were surprised by a
birthday celebration.
