In collaboration with SABEQ,
Extensya launches a national campaign to create awareness on the Business
Outsourcing Industry and its growth potential in Jordan
In line with the national initiative that
aims towards making Jordan the Contact Center hub in the region, SABEQ – a
USAID Economic development initiative for Jordan - perceives the significant
impact of this industry on the Jordanian economy and its ability to create
more job opportunities, thus it teamed up with Extensya in a campaign for
building awareness among the Jordanian youth about this infant industry.
Al Yarmouk University was the campaign’s
first destination among many others to follow this year. The campaign
commenced with a presentation held by SABEQ on April 14th discussing their
plans of supporting the business sectors that have the capacity to improve
the Jordanian Economy. Furthermore, Extensya carried out a presentation
introducing the outsourcing industry and its importance in developing
companies, enhancing quality, and reducing costs. The students attending the
presentation explored a whole new path of careers within the outsourcing
world of business. Extensya was present on campus at Al Yarmouk for two days
on April 14th and 15th, to talk to the students and to get to know them more
on a one-to-one basis. Extensya’s team received resumes of interested
candidates looking for Jobs in the outsourcing business, and will carry out
the recruitment filtration processes to employ those who fit.
Al Yarmouk University was pleased with the
outcomes of the event and scheduled another visit in May for Extensya and
SABEQ to present to a larger number of students. All parties considered this
campaign an innovative approach to develop the Jordanian economy through
enhancing market knowledge to its future leaders, the youth.
