MOHAMMED SAQER

Executive Chairman

Mr. Saqer is a leading public figure in Jordan, and has a rich career that Extends over 30 years in the contest of large and fast changing organizations. On a national level, Mr. Saqer’s contribution was pivotal in shaping Jordan’s economic strategies for the IT and telecom sector, where he is a member of many forums and committees to plan various activities and economic initiatives.

In 2010, Mr. Saqer was appointed as the Chief Commissioner of ASEZA (Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority), which is a Governor position to manage and overlook the city of Aqaba in Jordan, and shape the economic strategies for this vital area.

In 2003, Eng. Saqer held the position of CEO at Fastlink, recently Zain Jordan, where he led the company and positioned it as the leading mobile service provider in Jordan with a regional reputation of excellence. Under his leadership and with his strategic insight the company’s market share reached 70%, its subscriber’s base increased from 600.000 to 2 million and its profits witnessed an increase of 500%.

Prior to this and in 1998, Eng. Saqer was the Vice-President and Head of the Technical Department at LebanCell. With his technical and managerial experience, he was appointed as International Operations Manager for installing GSM networks in Iran and Armenia.

Between 1994 and 1998 Eng. Saqer worked as Business Development Manager for Motorola CIG in Lebanon, where he was responsible for the GSM unit with a remit of responsibilities in Jordan, Palestine and Syria.

Mr. Saqer is part of many successful business ventures, where he is a co-founder and major shareholder of Shira for Real Estate Development and Investment, which is a leading real estate company in Jordan. He is also a co-founder and major shareholder in the Arab Company for Science & Technology (Qasyoun University).

SULAYMAN ELLAYAN

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Sulayman is the General Manager and co-founder of Extensya, with a career spread across a period of more than 19+ years, Mr. Sulayman is a key successor for Extensya since the first day of launch, he is currently managing service planning, service delivery and service support units at Extensya’s operations along with client management and business development for both Jordan and KSA. Mr. Sulayman has a strong diversified high standard competency level which helped in creating a very strong operations team and middle management layer, with his strong experience and knowledge in customer care operations, strategies, technicalities, commercials and financials.

Mr. Sulayman was the main driver for Extensya’s cost cutting initiative and building hybrid operations that reduced the operational cost dramatically, which helped Extensya in the commercial competition in the region.

Prior to joining Extensya, Mr. Sulayman was working as a Senior Manager for the contact center in Dubai at EITC – Emirates Integrated Telecommunication Company (du), successfully launching the contact center from scratch, including: location site preparations, call center platform, ACD, IVR designs, system capacity, team dimensioning, recruitment and fulfillment, training design, processes and procedures, and setting up operations rules and regulations. With Mr.Sulayman, du managed to reach a very good customer care experience standards across all customer access channels.

Before joining du, Mr. Sulayman’s previous experience was with Zain Group, Amman, Jordan, as a contact center manager, he developed & introduced new requirements for all systems and technologies used in the call center such as main desktop application (CRM solutions, monitoring and quality assurance systems and performance measurement systems). He had also played key role in regional projects related to Zain group in Kuwait, Bahrain and Lebanon.

WAEL ABDULKHALIQ

Chief Technology Officer – CTO

Mr. Wael Abdulkhaliq is the CTO and a co-founder of Extensya, he has over 25 years’ experience in the IT field within technology-driven and fast-moving industries, enabling Business processes through Enterprise Applications, Billing Systems, CRM, and Call Center platforms.

Mr. Wael also worked extensively through his career on software development, Middleware tools and Database management, allowing business transformation and seamless evolution of technology components.

Mr. Wael joined Extensya as a co-founder in 2008, where he established the technical setup for all the company’s sites in Jordan and KSA. Along with the team that he has built within Extensya, he worked on setting up Network infrastructure, back office setup, Contact Center and telephony systems, CRM, and internal IT policies and procedures.

Prior to that, Eng. Wael worked at Zain Telecom, the largest mobile telecommunication operator in Jordan, and member of Zain Group, as the head of Business Systems, where he was leading the enablement of business processes and services by creating and integrating business applications and other network components. he was also responsible for transforming the telecom business processes to in line with eTOM framework, along with setting the IT strategies in relation to aligning the business solutions and the evolving technologies to fulfill ongoing business needs of voice and data services and products.

Mr. Wael an Electrical Engineering Degree holder from – Jordan University of Science & Technology, In 1993 he started his carrier as telecom engineer in the PBX and switching devices field.

TAREQ ALI-SALEH

Finance Director

Mr. Tareq Ali Saleh is a highly accomplished financial executive with more than 18 years of experience in the financial field, holding many financial professional certificates such as CIA, CPA and CMA. Over these years Mr. Tareq gained accumulated experience in the commercial, manufacturing, banking and services fields and was able to provide valuable consultation to the company.

Mr. Tareq is in charge for all Extensya’s financial activities with a high experience in strategic planning, financial controlling, budgeting and forecasting and financial analysis. Mr. Tareq is an expert financial management executive who has a strong bond with the financial and banking institutes locally and internationally. Mr. Tareq has established a corporate financial system that integrates all financial activities within the organization.

Mr. Tareq believes in team work and that one hand can’t clap, motivating staff to peak and working on team development is one of the most important reasons that contributed to the advancement of the finance department.

NADER SALLAM

Quality & HR Director

Mr. Nader Sallam has more than 18 years’ experience in the fields of quality management system, HR, and customer experience in Major organizations in the telecommunication and Banking sectors.

Prior to joining Extensya as Head of HR, Quality and administration, Mr. Sallam worked as the head of quality and customer experience department in Jordan Telecommunication Company (JTC) – Orange where he was responsible for managing the overall company quality management system, developing and enhancing company policies and procedures to insure effective and efficient operations. He was also responsible for monitoring the quality of services provided to customers throughout all touch points including branches, call centers and field sales teams.

Prior to working with Orange, Mr. Sallam worked as head of quality and business excellence department where he was responsible for monitoring and enhancing operational performance and setting improvement plans in accordance with the company’s strategy, Mr. Sallam also was appointed as the project manager for turnkey projects such as launching the 3G internet network as the first operator in Jordan to launch such service to its customers.

Mr. Sallam Joined Arab bank in 2009 as VP – Head of Global Service Quality for Jordan, UAE, Palestine, Qatar and Egypt, his main duties were setting strategies to enhance the quality of services provided throughout retail branches and call centers.

Mr. Sallam, a Computer Information System Degree holder, started his professional career in 1996 with Philadelphia Consulting Group where he was responsible for managing several turnkey projects for implementing Quality.
